Why learn from me

Joel Samuel

M.Tech, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad · Former Associate Professor in Civil Engineering

I am an IIT-trained structural engineer who has spent 22+ years in industry and in the classroom, including as an Associate Professor in Civil Engineering at an engineering college. Over those years I have seen what separates students who understand Mathematics from those who only memorise it, and these notes are built around that difference.

Why these notes

Concept first. I explain why a method works before I hand you the formula, so a question you have never seen does not throw you.
Every step on the page. Nothing skipped, and written the way it has to appear in your answer sheet.
Textbook order, start to finish. Worked examples and exercises chapter by chapter, so revision has a clear start and a clear end.
Handwritten by me. Written out by hand, chapter by chapter, by the person who teaches it.

Not sure yet? Open the free sample pages on this page and judge the explanations for yourself. If the way I teach clicks with you, the rest of the notes will too.
